In Memory Alone – Update
Front and Back Armor
I really didn’t understand what I was getting myself into when I started this project. How much time it would take to do prep work on what I though was just a simple Halloween costume… I’m having to come up with a design that will not only allow my son to put on the outfit without my supervision but also something that won’t break by touching it the wrong way.
Here is my design for the chest and back armor.

When my best friend asked me to create a western/supernatural type book cover it seemed like it was out of my element and something I wasn’t able to do but I do love a challenge. I did a lot of research on frames, signage and fonts of the western era and I found myself intrigued with some of the designs and usage. I was my intent to create a dark and distressed look yet still have the western feel. I think I was able to do that.
EL Tape Came In
Well, I got the EL Tape and it’s in good condition. I tested each and everyone of the strips and inverters, they pass with flying colors. It’s not as flexible as I would have hoped but it will work for the costume just fine. Below are some images I took soon after testing.
